Virtual Meeting between Speaker Tan Chuan-Jin and ROK National Assembly Speaker

Speaker Tan Chuan-Jin and Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Park Byeong-seug held a meeting via videoconferencing.

Speaker Tan and Speaker Park were pleased to be able to meet virtually and spent time discussing bilateral relations, how each country had been managing the COVID-19 situation and what each country was doing to return to normalcy and re-establish travel links.

ROK was Singapore's 8th largest trading partner last year, and even in the midst of the pandemic, bilateral trade increased 13% from the previous year.
