Pair Search is a tool that allows anyone to access, search, and analyse public government records like Parliamentary Debates. It delivers highly relevant results using advanced semantic search, instead of relying solely on traditional keyword matching. It also helps users gauge the usefulness of articles by displaying text snippets from relevant results. Besides its advanced search capabilities, Pair Search offers searchers LLM-powered tools to analyse across multiple articles. With a single click, users can find trends, principles, and detailed viewpoints of their searches. Pair Search was developed by the Pair team at Open Government Products (OGP) in collaboration with Parliament. It is built around Singapore’s Hansard Parliament Official Reports, Supreme Court Judgment Cases, and Current Acts and Subsidiary Legislation. You can try Pair Search for yourself here.
