The Computer Information Systems Department undertakes and manages all computerization projects in Parliament House on behalf of the Parliament Secretariat. Its team of five IT officers are assigned from the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA). It advises Parliament in computerization initiatives and courses of action. It is also responsible for the provision of computer and information services either directly by its internal sources or through service providers. This includes the acquisition and development of application software, and the acquisition and operation of appropriate hardware and system software.
